General information for applicants to the Master's course in Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

This six-year undergraduate Master's programme is suitable for applicants who have completed their secondary school studies. It covers the full breadth of Veterinary Medicine, but with a particular focus on diagnostics, therapy and prevention of diseases in various species. Studies are concluded with the state examination, which consists of several “partial” exams in clinical subjects chosen by the student. Students also have the option of writing a thesis. Graduates are awarded the title “Doctor of Veterinary Medicine”, abbreviated as MVDr.
