Merit Scholarship

The Merit Scholarship is awarded once a year for outstanding academic results obtained in the previous academic year.

 In order to be eligible for the Merit Scholarship, a student must have fulfilled all of the following conditions in the previous academic year.

• Student must have passed all credit tests and exams on the first attempt
• Student must have obtained the minimum number of credits to progress to the next year of study
• The weighted average of the student’s academic results for the year must be 1.50 or less

Each year, there is a set period from August to October when students can submit an application through STAG. The payment of the scholarship is usually made in October – November.

To submit an application, go to the relevant section in My Study – Student Application Forms, choose the option Application for a Merit Scholarship and copy your study average into the box as the reason for your application. You can find your study average for the year in STAG under My Study – Study Results for the Year.

Amount of the Merit Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year.

category I (average 1.00)……………………………………………………………… 15 000 CZK

category II (average 1.01 – 1.25)……………………………………………………... 10 000 CZK

category III (average 1.26 – 1.50) …………………………………………………….. 5 000 CZK
